22년 9월 FOMC 발표와 FED 의 지수들

오늘 9월 21일 수요일 오후 2시에, FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee) 발표가 있었습니다.

Federal Reserve issues FOMC statement

The Committee seeks to achieve maximum employment and inflation at the rate of 2 percent over the longer run.

In support of these goals, the Committee decided to raise the target range for the federal funds rate to 3 to 3-1/4 percent and anticipates that ongoing increases in the target range will be appropriate.

In addition, the Committee will continue reducing its holdings of Treasury securities and agency debt and agency mortgage-backed securities, as described in the Plans for Reducing the Size of the Federal Reserve's Balance Sheet that were issued in May.
The Committee is strongly committed to returning inflation to its 2 percent objective.

미연준의 목표는 최대 고용률의 유지과 장기적으로 2%의 인플레이션의 달성에 있습니다.

이를 위해 오늘도 이율을 0.75% 올림으로써 이제 3% ~ 3.25% 가 되었습니다. 앞으로도 계속 인상할 것이라고 말하고 있네요.

또한 계속적인 양적긴축을 통해 연준의 보유자산을 줄이겠다고 합니다. 

결국 2% 의 인플레이션으로 돌아가기 위해 모든 노력을 하겠다는 의지를 확실히 보여주고 있네요.

참고로 현재 실업률은 3.5% 로 코비드 팬더믹 전으로 돌아왔습니다.

그리고 연방 이율은 이제 3%-3.25% 가 되어서 2008년 이후 최고치를 기록하게 되었습니다.
